KAMLOOPS - The Kamloops Museum and Archives is excited to present three events to choose from to celebrate Halloween this year.
Victorian Halloween kicks off the Halloween events. On Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, this family friendly affair will start with the telling of spooky stories by candlelight, passing around the fortune ball and making Halloween masks.
For people who would like an active but not overly spooky adventure, grab a flashlight and head to the Pleasant Street Cemetery for a guided tour through the cemetery by our interpreter and explore stories of lost burial grounds, historical hair-raising spots and the echo of forgotten souls. Tours run Oct. 27 and 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Would you serve on a jury to save a man’s life? The KMA is teaming up with Chimera Theatre to present an exclusive adult Halloween room-escape experience. It is part scavenger hunt and part puzzle game with a twist….there is a madman on the loose! Can you escape before he finds you? This Murder Mystery at the Old Courthouse is a three night event running Oct. 29 to 31 with two time slots nightly.
Reservations are recommended by calling the Museum at 250-828-3576. Make sure you like the Museum on Facebook or follow them on Twitter to keep up to date with special tours and other exciting things happening at the KMA .
