Five members of the Kelowna Rockets have been listed by NHL Central Scouting in its final rankings of draft eligible players prior to the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Defencemen Madison Bowey and Mitchell Wheaton, forwards Myles Bell and Tyrell Goulbourne and goaltender Jackson Whistle made the list, released Wednesday by NHL Central Scouting.

Bowey is the highest listed Rockets player, ranked as the 32nd best North American skater by Central Scouting. That's marginally down from the mid-season rankings which saw the Winnipeg native listed at number 22.

Bowey is currently playing with Team Canada's Under-18 team in Russia.

Defenceman turned forward Myles Bell made a significant jump in Central Scouting's rankings, listed as the 46th eligible North American skater, jumping up from his 87th ranking in the mid season rankings.

Bell led the Rockets wth 93 points in the regular season.

Also listed by Central Scouting was 6-foot-5 defenceman Mitchell Wheaton, who despite requiring off season surgery, came back and played for the Rockets in the final few games of the WHL playoffs this season.

Wheaton, from Sherwood Park, AB, was plus-20 in 39 games in his rookie season with the Rockets and is listed at number 69.

Tyrell Goulbourne joined his teammates in being ranked for the first time by Central Scouting as the forward is listed at number 151.

Goalie Jackson Whistle was also ranked as the number 27 goalie listed by Central Scouting after his first season for the Rockets saw the West Kelowna native go 15-2-0-1 on the season.

The NHL Entry Draft is June 30 in New Jersey.
