Fender-bender partially clogs artery into Kamloops

Emergency crews tend to the injured, direct traffic around a fender-bender on Victoria Street west, just east of the Overlander Bridge.

KAMLOOPS - Traffic is backed up on Victoria Street west, all the way to the Overlanders Bridge because of an accident this afternoon.

Police are limiting flow to one lane through the area, where a mini-van rear-ended a pickup truck. Both were heading west on Victoria. The accident happened around 1:40 p.m. just east of the bridge.

Ambulance attendants removed the injured, though no information on the extent of injuries is available at the moment.
