WATERLOO, Ont. - Quarterback Jesse Mills threw two touchdowns and rushed for another as Carleton downed the Waterloo Warriors 33-14 on Monday, the Ravens' first victory since re-joining Canadian Interuniversity Sport.
Carleton dropped the program in 1998. The Ravens returned to varsity football in 2013, but went 0-8 last season.
Running back Jahvari Bennett rushed for 120 yards on 15 touches for Carleton (1-0).
Starting quarterback Jamie Cook picked up 67 yards on 10 carries for Waterloo (0-1), while running back Ryan Di Risio had 61 yards on his 14 touches.
Mills threw 11 completions on 21 attempts for 229 yards while Cook went 33-for-43 picking up 246 yards while throwing two interceptions.

OTTAWA — Derek Wendel threw 341 yards with four touchdowns to lead the Gee-Gees (1-0) to a rout of York (0-1). Nick Dagher caught seven passes for 122 yards and a TD for Ottawa. Nick Naylor kicked two field goals and a single for the Lions.

HAMILTON — Marshall Ferguson scored the game-winning touchdown as McMaster (1-0) rallied to edge Guelph (0-1) in overtime. The Marauders trailed the Gryphons 24-9 late in the third quarter before Ferguson and McMaster scored 18 points in the final 15 minutes and 21 seconds to pull the game even and push it in to extra time.

TORONTO — Dillon Campbell carried the ball 16 times for 298 yards and two touchdowns as Laurier (1-0) crushed the Blues (0-1). James Fracas threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns for the Golden Hawks, who led 27-17 at halftime before scoring 26 unanswered points in the second half.
