LONDON - British police say they have closed an investigation into who supplied Peaches Geldof with the heroin that killed her.

The 25-year-old TV personality, daughter of Live Aid organizer Bob Geldof, was found dead on April 7, 2014 at her home outside London.

Police discovered heroin and syringes in the house, and a coroner ruled that Geldof had died from a heroin overdose after relapsing from a battle to give up the drug.

Police said Friday that they had "exhausted all lines of inquiry" into who had supplied the drugs.

Detective Superintendent Paul Fotheringham of Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said detectives would review the case if new evidence emerged.

Geldof's mother, Paula Yates, died of a heroin overdose in 2000, when Peaches was 11.
