ENDERBY - An RCMP stolen firearms investigation came up empty for guns but resulted in an arrest following the discovery of cocaine and cash in Enderby.
Rural members of the RCMP started their investigation in early October and the trail led to a residence in the 1900 block of George Street. During the search officers allegedly found cash, cocaine and other drug related items, but the guns were not found. They arrested a 35-year-old man for trafficking in a controlled substance. Two other people at the residence during the search were released.
The 35-year-old was also released and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
