UPDATE: 6:28 a.m. Jan. 10, 2013

The RCMP say the name of the possible suspect in the Delta Grand Okanagan tagging incident found in a comments section for an online media story was incorrect. No further details are available.

KELOWNA - One of the taggers sought for spray painting the Delta Grand Okanagan and surrounding area has been caught thanks to chatter on the web.

Kelowna RCMP Const. Kris Clark says the suspects were caught mere hours after the news release was sent out to various media in the community. Apparently, someone commenting on one of the media stories shared the identify of a possible suspect and police were alerted.

A lawyer contacted police to arrange for the suspect to turn herself in. The woman will be released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
