The City’s Parking Management Strategy is the subject of a public open house Wednesday, Nov. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Parkinson Recreation Centre.
The City is asking residents to share their ideas and feedback to help shape a new city-wide Parking Management Strategy that will change regulations and rates. The strategy is focused on making more short-term parking available, continuing to pay for itself so that general taxation is not impacted, improving service options for a better customer experience and supporting a balanced transportation network to take pressure off the need for parking spaces.
The public is invited to attend an open house to review recommendations and provide feedback and ideas on this important strategy.
The information session is on Wednesday starting at 5 p.m. at Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way.
City representatives and the consultant will be available to answer questions.
