TORONTO - The Writers' Trust of Canada is holding a party to celebrate Margaret Atwood's 75th birthday.
Tuesday's black-tie event — officially the 29th annual Writers' Trust Gala — will feature a literary treasure hunt and signed Atwood memorabilia.
It's set to be hosted by comedian Colin Mochrie and author guests are expected to include David Bezmozgis, Emma Donoghue, Vincent Lam and Ann-Marie MacDonald.
The Writers' Trust Gala generates funds for literary awards, grants and writing retreats.
Atwood — whose long list of books include "The Handmaid's Tale" and "The Robber Bride" — turned 75 last week.
