It was a busy Friday night for West Kelowna Fire Rescue, who had to respond to two simultaneous technical rescue incidents.
A motorcycle crash on the upper end of Batley Road, Aug. 28, resulted in a single patient with an ankle injury, fire chief Jason Brolund said in a press release. That rescue required four firefighters used a UTV off-road vehicle to access this area and assisted B.C. Ambulance Service, who transported one patient to hospital.
