  • Special weather statement for tonight throughout the Interior

    Heavy showers or thunderstorms with gusty winds are expected tonight.

    Environment Canada issued a special weather statement today, June 24, for the Thompson, Okanagan Valley and Shuswap regions.

    A media release says an approaching cold front will move into the the B.C. interior late this evening and then exit into Alberta Monday morning.

  • UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm warning ended in Central Okanagan

    KELOWNA - A severe thunderstorm warning issued for Kelowna and the Central Okanagan has been ended by Environment Canada.
  • More snow expected for much of the Southern Interior

    Easter eggs might be a little harder to find in much of the Southern Interior this year if they are covered by snow.
  • Snowfall warning issued for Coquihalla Highway

    It's slow going for travellers driving between the southwest Interior and Lower Mainland with a heavy snowfall warning on the Coquihalla, and a mudslide which has closed Highway 1 through the eastern Fraser Valley.
  • UPDATE: Snowfall warnings for Coquihalla, Rogers Pass, Highway 3 lifted

    THOMPSON-OKANAGAN - Motorists driving the Trans Canada Highway to Calgary, the Coquihalla to Vancouver, or Highway 3 east or west, can now breathe a sigh of relief because the flurry of snowfall warnings are now over.
