Severe dangerous thunderstorms are expected in several regions in the southern B.C. Interior.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Nicola, South Thompson, Okanagan Valley and Boundary.
The storms could bring strong winds, large hail, heavy rain and flash floods, according to the watch.
Travellers should be aware of water pooling on the roads, and otherwise dangerous driving conditions.
“Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors,” Environment Canada said in the warning.
