Woman dies in North Okanagan motorcycle crash

A woman died in a motorcycle crash along Highway 97A last night.

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson, with the RCMP, said police responded to a single motorcycle crash yesterday, Sept. 30 in the 7100 Block of Highway 97A.

The driver, a 35-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

DriveB.C. reported that traffic was affected in both directions last night due to the crash.

The investigation is ongoing and "causal factors are yet to be determined," Saunderson said, via email.

She did not have additional information on the incident.
