West Kelowna's public pool is the latest to announce a reopening date following the pandemic-related closures.

Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Center will reopen Sept. 14, with limited programs, according to a Facebook post.

No public swims are available until further notice. General registration starts Aug. 17 at 8 a.m. and swim lesson registration starts Aug. 19 at 8 a.m.

Social distancing measures will also be in place, including limited use of change rooms and a limited number of participants for swimming lessons.

The Kelowna Family Y and H2O Adventure and Fitness Centre reopened its pools to the public on Aug. 10. Aquatic offerings include open swim times, lane swimming and aquafit classes.

Kelowna's Parkinson Recreation Centre remains closed until further notice, according to the City of Kelowna's website.
