A man from Creston is on the lam and RCMP believe he may be in Kamloops.
Chad William Meszarosi, 39, is wanted for four counts of breaching his probation, according to a Kamloops RCMP news release issued today, Dec. 1.
Meszarosi was last seen in Kamloops, Nov. 4, and has ties to Creston, so it's possible he returned there, police said.
Kamloops RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for Meszarosi, but say not to approach him as police consider him to be violent.
Meszarosi has been the subject of dozens of police investigations in B.C. since 2003. Most of been in the Creston area, with others in Penticton and Cranbrook. He's currently facing several charges for offences this summer including assault, unlawful confinement, and an alleged break and enter, according to court documents.
He's expected to return to court in Creston on Dec. 22.
He's described as Caucasian with a stocky build, 5'9" tall and about 200 lb. with blue eyes and blond hair.
Police also say he also goes by the surname aliases of Peskor and Pesker.
