KELOWNA - The smoke has hardly cleared from the suburbs of Fort McMurray, but plans are in the works to begin rebuilding parts of the city victimized in last week’s wildfire.

TPD, an employee recruitment company, recently posted a notice notice looking for a number of occupations and professions to begin the Fort McMurray rebuild.

“As a company who has previously experienced the impact of a natural disaster, we know rebuilding a city as quickly as possible in the aftermath is key to ensuring a community’s speedy recovery. If you have lost your job due to the fires, please let us know. It is our priority to help you get back to work and rebuild the community you call home,” the notice states.

TPD says it has partnered with several companies in Alberta and are already hiring in construction and trades, security and project management.

The recruitment firm says compensation packages will be provided including competitive wages, meals, transportation and accommodation when required.

To apply, see the web page in order to submit your resume.
