PENTICTON - Grammy nominated Danish rock band Volbeat will join Godsmack on the metal band's North American tour next spring.

The tour kicks off in the U.S. and will make their way to Canada, including a stop in Penticton at the South Okanagan Events Centre on April 27, 2019, according to a media release.

Volbeat is a rock band that originated from Copenhagen in 2001. Some of their feature singles include “A Warrior’s Call” and “Heaven Nor Hell”.

Godsmack recently released their album "When Legends Rise" earlier this year, making it the band’s seventh studio album and their first album in four years.

Tickets, which range in price from $59.50 to $89.50 plus service charges, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at ValleyFirstTix.com.
