Vernon Tim Horton's staff offer up a dance that will get your day started with a smile

“The whole thing was planned and done to uplift the spirits of the community in this trying time,” Evarrola said. “It’s to cheer people up and to remind them that this too shall pass.” All six dancers work at the Tim Hortons and they only had to practice it for two hours.

If you need a cheerful morning jolt, look no further.

A team of Tim Horton’s workers from Vernon tapped into the social distancing, TikTok-ing zeitgeist and offered up an homage to frontline workers that’s bound to put a big a jump in your step.

Dancing to Fight Song by Raffy Evarrola leads a team from the 32nd Street Tim Hortons in a dance that ends in a salute.

“The whole thing was planned and done to uplift the spirits of the community in this trying time,” Evarrola said. “It’s to cheer people up and to remind them that this too shall pass.”

All six dancers work at the Tim Hortons and they only had to practice it for two hours.

The video, which has been shared hundreds of times already, is accompanied by a message Evarrola hopes people will keep in mind as they go about their days.

“You are braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. We're all in this together. Salute to all Front-liners!”
