Vernon RCMP investigate theft of South Korean ski team's equipment

Vernon RCMP are investigating the theft of ski equipment belonging to the South Korean women’s Nordic ski team.

Vernon RCMP media relations officer Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in a press release issued today, Dec.19, approximately $20,000 worth of Nordic ski equipment was stolen from a bus parked in the 4200 block of 32nd Street in Vernon sometime overnight Dec. 2.

Two bags containing ten pairs of women’s Nordic skis, bindings and ski poles were taken.

Vernon RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding the theft to contact RCMP at 250-545-7171 or through CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or by leaving a tip online at www.nokscrimestoppers.com.
