Vernon RCMP is asking the public for dashcam footage following the discovery of two bodies found in a trailer in Coldstream Jan. 17.
According to an RCMP media release police have yet to confirm whether there is a connection between a burning vehicle discovered on Francis Road at a similar time.
Police are asking the public for dashcam footage captured between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. Jan. 17 on Highway 97 between College Way and Kalamalka Lakeview Drive, and on Francis Road between 25 Ave and 35 Ave.
"Investigators have reason to believe that there are people out there who may have witnessed the events leading to the vehicle fire on Francis Road and are asking anyone who has yet to speak with the police to come forward," the release says.
On Jan. 17, two bodies were discovered in a trailer at Kalview Trailer Park on Clerke Road in Coldstream.
One man was taken into custody and another was discovered with life-threatening injuries and rushed to hospital.
One neighbour told iNFOnews.ca that the trailer was a "party house" where "questionable" people lived.
