A 43-year-old Vernon man allegedly threatened someone with a hammer in the city's downtown yesterday.
Vernon RCMP received a report about a man with a hammer making threats in the 3600 block of 31 Street in Vernon around 7:20 a.m. on March 6, according to an RCMP press release.
RCMP said officers quickly located the suspect in the area and arrested him without incident.
The suspect has been released after an initial court appearance.
His next court date is set for March 14.
