MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Latest on a manhunt for an armed suspect after two police officers were shot in Manchester, New Hampshire (all times local):
4:10 p.m.
A man accused of shooting two New Hampshire police officers is facing two counts of attempted capital murder.
Authorities say 32-year-old Ian MacPherson was arrested at around 5 a.m. Friday in the shootings of Manchester Police Department officers Ryan Hardy and Matthew O'Connor.
Authorities say Hardy approached MacPherson just after 2 a.m. because he matched the description of a suspect in an armed robbery of a gas station the night before. They say MacPherson shot Hardy in the face and torso. He is in stable condition.
Authorities say a half hour later, MacPherson shot O'Connor in the leg. He's out of the hospital.
Police Chief Nick Willard says MacPherson is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Manchester District Court.
MacPherson is being held without bail. It wasn't immediately clear if he has an attorney.

The police chief of Manchester, New Hampshire, says the city is safe and police are no longer looking for an armed suspect after two officers were shot and a manhunt started in a neighbourhood.
But Chief Nick Willard stopped short Friday of saying whether the suspect was in custody or being questioned. He said he couldn't say, "to protect the integrity of the investigation."
The officers were shot at separate locations around 2 a.m. Friday. Willard said one has been released from the hospital, and the other is in stable condition.
Parts of Manchester's west side were blocked off and a "shelter in place" order for residents was issued before being lifted before noon Friday.

A police command post has been taken down and a "shelter in place" order for residents has been lifted in a Manchester, New Hampshire, neighbourhood after two officers were shot and a manhunt started for an armed suspect.
It wasn't immediately clear why the post was taken down or why the order was lifted. Also, helicopters that were in the area were no longer in the area.
Police Chief Nick Willard said the two officers were shot at separate locations around 2 a.m. Friday, and they are recovering at hospitals and expected to be OK. Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas said the officers, who were not identified, "seem to be fine."
Gov. Maggie Hassan said Friday she had spoken to both officers and was grateful that they are expected to recover.
Several streets were blocked off and police were seen walking around Friday morning, but they did not appear to be going door-to-door.
