Several Kamloops RCMP officers were called to the 1700 block of Parkcrest Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. today, Feb. 28, where a suspect was believed to have assaulted and threatened a person with what looked like a firearm before fleeing the scene.
Two suspects were arrested, according to an RCMP media release.
Both were known to police and one had an unendorsed warrant related to a previous robbery in Kamloops.
The suspects are being held in custody as the investigation continues, RCMP said.
Charge recommendations are anticipated.
RCMP don't say what those charges might be.
