Two pedestrians were seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle being driven by an off-duty RCMP officer in Revelstoke yesterday afternoon and the province's police watchdog is investigating.
The off-duty cop was involved in a collision with a male and female pedestrian at around 4:34 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, on 4 Street in Revelstoke, according to an Independent Investigations Office of BC media release.
Both pedestrians were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators will be looking to confirm the details of the collision including what happened leading up to it and the extent of the injuries suffered by the pedestrians.
