TAPPEN - Neither driver was hurt in a two vehicle crash on the Trans Canada Highway north of Salmon Arm last night.

RCMP say two vehicles collided at approximately 7 p.m. yesterday, Oct. 5, in the 5000 block of Highway 1 at the intersection with Tappen Valley Road.

Salmon Arm RCMP Staff Sgt. Scott West says in a media release a Sorrento man pulled onto the highway into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by a Salmon Arm woman.

While both vehicles were heavily damaged, both drivers were uninjured.

West says no charges "are being investigated at this time."
