TORONTO - The first evictee on "Big Brother Canada" says she knew she would be voted out by her fellow contestants last night and stirred the pot before she left.
Kat Yee of Toronto says she felt her fate was sealed once she was nominated for eviction earlier this week, so she and fellow contestant Aneal Ramkissoon spread a lie about their friendship in order to advance his position and break up alliances.
The 27-year-old sporty bartender adds she's now looking forward to watching the fallout from that lie.
The inaugural season of "Big Brother Canada," which is based on the hit international reality TV franchise, debuted Wednesday on Slice with 15 contestants living together in a camera-rigged house.
Contestants scheme and compete in a series of challenges in a bid to win a grand prize of $100,000, a $25,000 gift card for The Brick and a Chevrolet Trax.
Yee says she had fun but notes it was also very stressful and she's glad it's over.
She adds she feels complimented by the eviction because it means people found her a strong and threatening contestant.
The show airs every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday on Slice.
Die-hard fans can also spy on the house 24 hours a day through the Slice website.
