TRENDING NOW: Beer lover reacts to new drinking guidelines

A man from St. Catherines, Ontario was shocked to hear that the Canadian government is recommending no more than two alcoholic drinks per week.

“Two drinks a week? he says to a reporter. “Well that’s just not feasible, not in this country.”

He was at a liquor store for tall six-packs of Busch Light and Bud Light when he learned about the new guidelines.

"C'mon man, two drinks a week, what’s that going to do for you? I mean that doesn’t even get you through a day."

He considers four beers to be a reasonable amount for somebody at home.

“That’s just two more. I mean I’ll have six, but four’s a fair number.”

The man argues there shouldn’t be guidelines at all.

“Why are you going to tell me how much I can drink at home?”

He called the recommendations “heartbreaking.”
