The North Glenmore dog park in Kelowna has re-opened and is now safe to use again following wildfire damage.
The park closed when a fence burned in this summer's wildfire.
Now that the fence has been replaced, it's completely safe to go back with dogs and let them roam off their leashes, Tom Wilson with the City of Kelowna said.
On the property adjacent to the dog park, danger trees were found.
Temporary fences have been put up to protect both humans and dogs wanting to enjoy the park. They'll be in place until the trees are deemed safe.
