Three suspects sought in Kamloops vehicle arson

An unoccupied vehicle was set on fire along Tranquille Road last week, and Kamloops RCMP are looking for suspects.

Police and firefighters were called to the 200-block of Tranquille Road at approximately 2 a.m., June 8, where the SUV was on fire.

Kamloops Fire Rescue extinguished the blaze and there was no one inside, according to a Kamloops RCMP news release.

As the week-long arson investigation continues, RCMP released surveillance footage from the area showing three people of interest.

Police are hoping someone can identify the suspects.

“Police believe the fire was intentionally set and are hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed or has information related to this incident,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said.
