Telus cuts $35 activation fee for new customers; but adds $10 SIM card fee

VANCOUVER - Telus (TSX:T) says it's no longer charging a $35 activation fee for new wireless customers, or a $25 equipment exchange fee for renewing customers who purchase a new device. But Telus says it will begin charging consumers $10 on Nov. 1 for SIM cards to cover the product cost previously included in renewal and activation fees.
