Teen dies in Williams Lake ATV rollover

A 17-year-old is dead after her ATV rolled over in Williams Lake this past weekend.

First responders rushed to a gravel area at the end of Gun a Noot trail after they were called to help with the rollover just after midnight, Aug. 7, according to a Williams Lake RCMP news release.

She was taken to hospital where she later died of her injuries, police said.

The 17-year-old wasn't wearing a helmet at the time and Williams Lake RCMP, along with the B.C. Coroners Service, continue to investigate.
