Stabbing at North Shore bus loop sends man to hospital

A man was rushed to Kamloops hospital Saturday night with stab wounds.

Officers were called to the North Shore bus loop on Sydney Road at approximately 6:15 p.m., Feb. 25, to a report of an assault with a weapon, according to an RCMP media release.

The man was taken Royal Inland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was last seen running with a limp south on Tranquille Road.

RCMP describe the suspect as a First Nations male with a small moustache and a stocky build and dressed in black clothing.

Anyone who witnessed the stabbing or has video of incident, is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-6590.
