Another big name is coming to Lake Country this fall, Ron Sexsmith.

On the heels of the announcement that Dan Mangan is performing at the Creekside Theatre, the same venue announced Sexsmith’s performance for Sept. 24.

Sexsmith has three JUNO awards and his latest “Sexmith At Sixty” tour is a look back at his career, according to a press release.

“With ‘Sexsmith At Sixty’ my plan was not to throw myself a birthday party but to try and shine a humble light on my contribution to the Canadian songbook. I am very excited to be bringing these career retrospective shows to audiences in British Columbia,” Sexsmith said in the release.

Sexmith has been putting out records regularly since 1995 and his early influences were Buddy Holly and Elton John.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on May 31 for $42 a piece. Click here for tickets and more information.
