VERNON - It looks like Mother Nature’s pattern of dry and warm weather throughout the week and thunderstorms on the weekend will continue.

According to Environment Canada, Penticton, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops will all see highs of 30 C today, Sept. 7, accompanied by a 30 per cent chance of rain and a risk of thunderstorms. The rain will continue until giving way to clear skies Tuesday morning.

As the calendar moves ever closer to the fall, temperatures are expected to drop as the week progresses, with a high of 22 to 23 C going into next weekend.
