A Search and Rescue truck was stolen in Williams Lake yesterday and police are asking the public for help finding it.
“This emergency vehicle represents a significant investment in the safety of the community,” Cpl. Shane Nicoll of Williams Lake RCMP said in a press release.
“We are asking that everyone look out for the SAR truck and, if seen, report it to police immediately.”
The truck is a red 2020 Dodge Ram 5500 emergency vehicle. It was stolen April 2 from the Cariboo Search and Rescue building on Mackenzie Avenue. It has a B.C. plate – RH7 960.
Do not approach the stolen vehicle if spotted, the RCMP advise, but rather call 9-1-1 or the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.
