UPDATE: Hayley Haines has been found and is safe and sound, according to an RCMP media release.
KAMLOOPS - Kamloops RCMP are asking for public assistance to help them locate a missing teenage girl.
Hayley Haines was last heard from January 4, but has been away from home for a couple weeks.
Though this is not the first time Haines has been out of contact with her family for an extended period of time, police are concerned for her well-being and would like to return her to her home. She is described as First Nations, 17-years-old, 5'4" tall, 110 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes.
