Vernon RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating a unique 1980s sports car stolen from a rural Spallumcheen property.

A Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release says the 1982 Mazda RX7 was last seen being driven along St. Anne's Road at roughly 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19.

The sports car had been stolen from a rural property in the 500 block of St. Anne’s Road in Spallumcheen.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle or have any information that may assist the investigation, to contact RCMP Const. Ian McLeod at the Armstrong RCMP Detachment on 250-546-3028.
