Winds are expected to become south at 20 km/h gusting to 40 this afternoon before easing tonight. The rain should also ease this evening followed by cloudy skies overnight and a low of 6 C.

Tuesday should see a mix of sun and cloud with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. The snow level is expected to be 1,500 metres in the afternoon with winds becoming north at 20 km/h gusting to 40 near noon. Tuesday’s high should reach 11 C in Vernon and Kelowna and 15 C in Penticton with temperatures falling to 6 C in the afternoon. An overnight low of 1 C is expected.

Wednesday should be mainly sunny with a high of 10 C and a low of 2 C.

On Thursday you can expect a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 12 C. Thursday night should see cloudy periods and a low of 3 C.

Showers return to the Okanagan on Friday with a high of 11 C. Cloudy conditions are expected Friday night with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a low of 1 C.

Saturday and Sunday look pretty good weather-wise with sunny skies and highs of 10 C and 9 C respectively. Saturday night’s low could dip below freezing, however.
