A North Okanagan ski hill has gone above and beyond in its effort to remind customers about early bird pricing.

A snowman was built this morning, Sept. 28, in the fountain at Vernon’s Polson Park on the notorious intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 6 where people gather weekly to waive protest signs promoting the latest conspiracy theories.

The snowman — which is holding a sign that reads: The End is Near —  is a marketing tool to sell ski passes, according to the resort's Facebook page.

It appears to be a comical double entendre both poking fun at the protesters and bringing attention to early bird pricing and deals that end at midnight on Sept. 30.
