A Penticton prolific offender with a history of assault will serve the rest of a conditional sentence behind bars.

Thomas Kruger-Allen, 21, made a Penticton courtroom appearance yesterday, Jan. 6, where he admitted breaching the conditional sentence given him for his part in a gang assault on a man after he left the former Mule nightclub in Penticton on Aug. 12, 2017.

BC Prosecution Service communications counsel Dan Mclaughlin said in an email that Judge Gregory Koturbash terminated Kruger-Allen’s conditional sentence order and sentenced him to the remainder of that order in jail.

The exact number of days left for Kruger-Allen to serve will be calculated by BC Corrections and was not addressed in court, Mclaughlin said.

Kruger-Allen also faces charges from an assault that took place on Okanagan Lake Beach on May 4, 2019, in which a Penticton man suffered a severe head injury as a result of the assault.

Kruger-Allen faces other charges, including assault and break and enter from an Oct.19, 2019 incident that occurred while he was serving his conditional sentence for the August 2017 assault.
