Man accused of vicious Okanagan Lake Beach assault facing new charges while on bail

Thomas Kruger-Allen was back in court on new charges on Oct. 21, 2019.

The man accused of a violent assault on a man at Okanagan Lake Beach last May was back in court earlier this week facing new charges.

Thomas KrugerAllen, 21, appeared in Penticton court on Monday, Oct. 21 facing seven charges stemming from an incident that occurred on Oct. 19, according to court documents.

The new charges Kruger-Allen is now facing include one count of break and enter, two counts of assault, once count of mischief, a breach and one count of uttering threats.

Kruger-Allen is accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Okanagan Lake Beach in Penticton on May 3 before assaulting Brad Eliason, who tried to intervene.

Eliason suffered a severe head injury after allegedly being assaulted by Kruger-Allen, who was out on bail over the May 3 incident at the time of his latest charges.

In July, Kruger-Allen was given a conditional sentence for his part in a group assault that took place outside the former Mule nightclub in Penticton in August 2017.

Kruger-Allen's next scheduled court appearance is Nov. 6, 2019.
