A man accused of a carjacking near Penticton last fall that was part of a days-long crime spree had his bail denied in Penticton court today.

Jesse Shawcross, 36, is facing 29 charges including assault, robbery, uttering threats, motor vehicle theft, break and enter, weapon possession for dangerous purposes and use of an imitation firearm.

Judge Michelle Daneliuk denied his application for bail in Penticton court today, Jan. 24.

A publication ban is in place with respect to his bail proceedings.
