Police need help finding Rutland muggers

KELOWNA - Kelowna Mounties are looking for two suspects who beat and robbed a man walking on a Rutland street Saturday.

RCMP Const. Kris Clark says a 20-year-old man was walking on Rutland Road North near Rutland Middle school around 1:45 a.m. He was near an access path to Richards Road when he was approached by two men. They started a casual conversation before feeding fists into his face, knocking him to the ground. They made off with his wallet and some clothes but the clothes were found.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries and did not require medical treatment. The suspects are both described as: Caucasian males between the ages of 25 and 30 and roughly six-feet tall with medium builds. One suspect was bald and they both wore dark clothing.
