March 02, 2020 - 1:40 PM

West Kelowna police officers have cordoned off an area around a business today while they wait for an RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit to arrive.

Staff at the business on Dunfield Road called police at about 8:30 a.m. today, March 2, after they noticed a suspicious package had been left there over the weekend, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP have not released the name of the business.

Anyone with information about the package is asked to contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880. Or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
