Police investigating suspicious fire in Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM - Salmon Arm RCMP have launched a criminal investigation after a suspected arson fire yesterday.

RCMP say officers responded to a report of a structure fire at the Broadview Villa Mobile Home Park located on 30 Street SE in Salmon Arm yesterday, March 14.

The homeowner and all the residents escaped without serious injury. Investigators have determined the cause of the fire is suspicious.

After an investigation police and fire crews determined the cause of the fire to be suspicious.

Any witnesses who observed the fire, were in the area prior to, or can identify the suspect are requested to contact the Salmon Arm RCMP Detachment at 250-832-6044 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
