The public is invited to gain some expert knowledge on a free bird watching tour around the Thompson Rivers University Kamloops campus later this month.
Bird expert Dr. Tom Dickinson is leading a tour for anyone who wants to learn more about little feathered friends, according to a press release from the university.
The tour starts at the gazebo in the Horticulture Gardens at 8 a.m. and ends around noon on May 23.

There will be pastries at the start of the walk and a pizza lunch at the end of it, but no one has to do the whole tour.
The tour is free but there are only 20 spots and people have been asked to register at the TRU Sustainability Office.
Organizers recommend bird watchers bring good walking shoes, water, a hat, and bird watching equipment like binoculars and cameras.
