KAMLOOPS - RCMP are investigating a violent altercation after reports that a 'bloodied male' was walking downtown Kamloops holding a weapon.
Police responded in force to the south end of the bike path that crosses the Overlander Bridge to search the area and found the man.
He was spotted in the Mission Flat area.
As the investigation evolves, police believe it is linked with an assault involving a second man who was injured.
"The investigation is in the early stages and will take some time to sort out," said Kamloops RCMP Const. Bernie Ward in a press release issued today.
Police believe to have all parties in custody.
