CACHE CREEK - A Cache Creek man charged with murder in connection to a deadly Cache Creek shooting will attempt to seek bail again later this week.
Corey Richard Harkness, 31, was arrested in January by RCMP after officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Collins Road in Cache Creek on Jan. 14.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased man. Harkness was arrested and charged with one count of murder.
Court documents show he was granted bail on Feb. 4 but was charged with breaching his bail conditions on Feb. 18. He is currently being held in custody.
Lawyers met today, April 1, in Kamloops Supreme Court to schedule Harkness's next bail hearing for Friday, April 5.
