CACHE CREEK - RCMP are investigating a shooting in a Cache Creek home that has left a man dead.
Police responded to a 911 call at a home in the 1000 block of Collins Road in Cache Creek at around 7 p.m. yesterday, Jan. 14, according to an RCMP media release.
RCMP say "an interaction" took place between two people who knew each other and investigators do not believe the incident "poses a continued direct threat to the public."
The Southeast District Major Crime Unit along with forensic identification investigators are currently at the scene.
Police are not releasing further details about the fatal shooting at this time.
