Kamloops RCMP came upon a cache of stolen property this week while attending a property that had previously elicited numerous complaints to police.
Police were assisting Kamloops bylaw officers on Aug. 26, when the entered the Cornwall Drive property, at which time they identified some stolen property that was in plain sight, according to an RCMP media release.
Kamloops RCMP drafted and executed a search warrant, later seizing multiple stolen bikes, tools and replica firearms.
"Neighbours commended the RCMP for their work and are hopeful with the assistance of bylaw and the RCMP the complaints drawn from the problem property will cease," RCMP Cpl. Melanie Murdy with the crime reduction unit said in the release.
